Kimberly attended Connecticut College in New London, CT and went on to get her Masters and Ph.D. in clinical psychology at Fordham University. She worked at the NYPD, becoming a forensic psychologist. Kimberly also ran an adult psychotherapy private practice in New York City.

She moved to New Canaan with her husband and four children 15 years ago, and has been an active and engaged volunteer ever since. She was elected to Town Council in 2021, winning a contested Republican Caucus and receiving the highest number of votes of any new candidate in the general election. . She came in just 192 votes shy of the current First Selectman.

Kimberly currently serves as co-chair of the Health and Human Services Committee and is an active member of the Bylaws and Ordinances Committee. Her experience on Town Council has prepared her to understand the many issues that face our town. She prides herself on being a transparent leader and on building consensus among residents. .

Kim is a mom of four children who have or are currently attending New Canaan Public Schools. Her family moved here for the schools and, as first selectman, she will work to safeguard our excellence as a district and place a priority on school safety.

Kim used to work for the NYPD as forensic psychologist. She attended career night at NCHS to share her experience to help students learn more about the field.

After getting her PhD at Fordham University, Kim went on for more advanced training and opened up an individual psychotherapy private practice in New York City. As a huge supporter of New Canaan High School, she has trained students in the New Canaan Cares Leadership Program to tell their story to get into college, land that first job or excel in their career.
